Christmas Tree Sale
A Tradition Since 1977

The first Christmas tree sale by the Lions Club of Savannah was under the direction of Lion Jim Utsey, Chairman. The Christmas tree sale began late in November of 1977 and ended on December 15th. The Christmas tree sale took place on a small lot at the corner of Victory Drive and Cedar Street next to the Daffin Park tennis courts.

Our first annual sale was a huge success, due to the fine effort of our Savannah Lions Club members who put in many hours of work setting up the enclosures for the Christmas trees and the sale itself. The friendly atmosphere and the good fellowship among the Lions helped to put our First Annual Christmas Tree Sale over our expected goal.

This year's Annual Christmas Tree Sale will enable us to further grant and develop various worthwhile charitable project. We invite you to help support our various projects.

Christmas trees sales usually begin around Thanksgiving and end around the middle of December. Our trees are hand-picked by our members insuring their quality and freshness.
